December 4, 2005 -- Saudi money funded 9-11 attacks. U.S. intelligence insiders have confirmed that NSA intercepts of financial communications prior to 911 showed that Saudi and Chinese money, funneled through Cyprus, helped fund "Al Qaeda" units in Afghanistan and arms deals between Saudi Arabia and China. Cyprus is a major nexus for financial transactions of the Russian-Ukrainian-Israeli Mafia.

In addition, the intercepts also pointed to Saudi financial backing for nuclear proliferation and missile programs involving the A Q Khan network based in Pakistan, which also involved the laundering of money emanating from Turkish narcotics dealing with Al Qaeda in Afghanistan. The intelligence insiders said one of the major reasons the Bush administration chose to ignore the Turkish drug connection to the Al Qaeda heroin pipeline was the reopening of the NSA signals intelligence base at Sinop on the Black Sea coast of Turkey.
